Sintala Design is a company founded in 2015 in Segovia (Spain) by José Luis Aranda, carpenter and wood builder with 35 years of experience in his profession. Currently the company is a multidisciplinary group formed by carpenters, designers, economists, engineers and architects.
The philosophy of the Company is about the creation of a wide range of products made of Wood that has not been cut, trying to maximize the sustainable use of forests and to minimize the waste of the used wood.

The used wood comes from urban pruning, forest clearing, fallen trees or remains of manufacturing processes, never from felled trees
In Sintala Design we remove the forestry residues, big trees logs included, and we study the best option in order to make the best use of the wood. We examine each piece of wood to determine the process and to define the products that we can develop with these fallen trees waste.

This process brings added value that allows us to reintroduce the final product in the area where the wood comes from or the chance to produce a piece of furniture with wood that comes from the pruning of a client´s special tree.
We work with public and private institutions on projects development: Foundations, Universities, municipal Corporations and private individuals. All together develop a system based on Ecosystem management which adapts to the natural pace of the Forest, not the other way around.
